'The Legend'

Borderline’s new album 'Borderline Legend' consists of all original tracks written by singer, songwriter Eugene "Big E" Lanham and performed by original members of Borderline along with some of the best musicians in southern West Virginia.

A ghostly musical encounter with Hank Sr. was the vision of Big E as he penned the words to ‘The Legend’ almost twenty years ago. This song has lived on in the memories of our families, friends, and fans all these years. And now as fate would have it Big E, Jimmy, and Randy (original Borderline members), have reunited to record ‘The Legend’ and a collection of Big E’s original songs. We hope you enjoy listening to this CD as much as we enjoyed making it!
